ガンプラ発売30周年ということでガンダムではなくプラモデルの方に焦点を置いたアニメとなる「模型戦士ガンプラビルダーズ ビギニングG」。作中では模型同士で対戦するガンプラバトルが繰り広げられるのですが、東京おもちゃショー2010の会場では発売予定となっているガンプラが展示されていました。
