《AIR》是2005年1月新番动画，于2005年1月6日开始在日本BS-I电视台放送，全篇预计12话，另外前年度还有一部《AIR》的剧场版。《AIR》的TV版是根据KEY和VISUALART'S同名热卖美少女AVG恋爱游戏改编而成，是一部感人至深的恋爱作品，故事讲述了一段跨越千年的悲伤恋曲，虽然是恋爱动画，但故事本身更着重于亲情的描写……
目前本作将以AVG形式登陆PSP平台，相信许多玩家都看过这部作品，本作曾经在2002年首次登陆PC平台，游戏全程语音，而且对每个人物的心理描写都非常的透彻。目前本作发行商PROTOTYPE表示，游戏将预定2007年11月22日发售，售价为5,040日元，喜欢此类AVG恋爱游戏的玩家不要错过本作。
