'Ultimate Zelda Guru'发了封EMAIL给美国任天堂，询问DS是否为外界说谣传的暂时只会发行二百万台，美国任天堂很快给予了答复否认这个消息……

How Many DS's?
I recently e-mailed Nintendo to ask them regarding the amount of DS units coming to North America, since it was said there would only be 2 million released. I am pleased to say that I have a positive response to the e-mail.

Although I would like to have a specific answer to your question about how many Nintendo DS systems will be available at launch, since this information has notbeen announced, I am not able to.  Please keep in mind that there is a lot of speculation about the Nintendo DS, most of which isn't true.

I am sure that there will be enough systems so that you will be able to get yours.

Does this mean that there are still 4 million untis being shipped? It is not known at this point, but it is good to know that Nintendo is not acknowledging the 2 million DS's possible rumour.
