More ICO 2
Nearly a year after solid news broke on a potential Ico sequel, pseudo-confirmation emerges.

April 30, 2004 - ICO II has been publicly hinted at since 2002, but it wasn't until April of 2003 that we learned, through an intrepid Spanish website, that the game was in development and rumored to be titled NICO. But, even that bit of tantalizing news wasn't enough for us, the obsessive gamers. So, in our regular compulsory perusal of everything on the entire Internet, we discovered a startling, if not entirely unexpected mention of NICO.
We were browsing Amazon.com's United Kingdom extension earlier, as we normally do, when we stumbled upon a listing for NICO, a PlayStation 2 title slated for a speculative November 2004 release.
The listing comes with exactly zero the way of information, but David Merton, Amazon UK user, still felt compelled to rate the game a respectable four out of five stars, stating that we could expect to see 'more original gameplay, great looking graphics and even more fun.' Fantastic, David! Way to bust out the clairvoyance. Heck, if it's good enough for 2 out of 4 Amazon UK users, than it's certainly good enough for us.
This blurb only reinforces preexisting rumor and leaked information. NICO seems a certainty. We'll know more at E3, promise. But, if you're not big on checking the site regularly, put a pin on NICO to get the latest updates as they happen.
