日本两个最大的电子零售商Yodobashi Camera和Bic Camera开始他们的网络订购PSP的服务。不过在IGN得知他们开始的消息前,就全部卖完了。
November 15, 2004 - A few major retailers in Japan have started taking pre-orders for the PSP. This weekend, a few lucky gamers were able to reserve the system at the Online channels for two of the nation's largest electronics retailers, Yodobashi Camera and Bic Camera. The supply of units sold out before we'd even gotten wind of the news, although the numbers were apparently in the low double digits.
Sony Computer Entertainment hasn't officially announced a retail pre-order program for the PSP. Still, we doubt Bic and Yodobashi, both of which have multiple mega-outlets throughout the Tokyo area and around Japan, would take pre-orders without prior word from SCE, even on their Online channels. Sales clerks at our nearby Bic and Yodobashi, as well as other retailers like Tsutaya, Sakura-ya and SoftMap, were unable to comment on a start date for Offline pre-orders.
A few major retail chains separate from these retailers have started taking pre-orders for the PSP, asking that gamers fork over the full price in order to secure a unit. Combine this with the mini Online campaign, and it seems as though SCE's full-blown pre-order campaign could kick off shortly.
Stay tuned for more as the PSP's Japanese launch draws near. |
