We've compiled a list of the games that are WiFi-enabled for the PlayStation Portable from the announcements and company listings for titles. This includes 16 of the 21 PSP launch titles in Japan, plus a number of titles announced for Japanese and North American/European release.
Our list currently tracks both wireless LAN and online titles -- realistically, the PSP is not expected to feature online titles for a while (going online via Hotspots and wireless routers should not be that difficult to accomodate, but as with console games, it's trickier for developers and publishers than you'd think -- and with WiFi, players will have to go the extra step of authenticating each Hotspot connection.) Sony Computer Entertainment has made mention of a MMO-RPG and Online Action Game, but has released no specifics about these titles. Electronic Arts has also hinted at online play -- at launch, no less -- but the US arm of the company says that the online specs listed on the official Japanese NFS Underground: Rivials Site may be a mistranslation by its Japanese arm (we're still working towards a confirmation.)
