This Custom Firmware POC (only for v1.50 FW users!) allows you flash the PSP's real NAND Flash with it and then use/edit the default config.txt file located in PSP\SYSTEM of this package to set which features you'd like ON or OFF. Examples include launching non-KXploited EBOOT.PBP files (ie 1.0 EBOOTs without the second duplicate folder), hiding corrupt icons, skipping the $CE logo at start-up, disabling UMD Auto-Run (this alone is GREAT!) at start-up, launching applications such as iR Shell directly at start-up, and even recovering damaged PSPs that have previously had bad fonts, videos, sounds, etc written to their flash.

To use this, simply follow the Instructions included... and for those wondering the flashing takes only about 5 seconds in total to do (if you stop to read everything) or only 1 second if you just do it. Your PSP will not reboot when it's finished, it will just go back to the XMB and everything should be working. If you wanted, you could even put all of the settings to FALSE, and your PSP would act as if you haven't done anything at all to it.

If you have NoKXploit enabled, you can run BOTH non-KXploited and KXploited EBOOT files at the same time (so your existing v1.50 ones can still be used).

You can only load EBOOTs directly, so it is impossible to go straight to 2.71 emulated Firmware with this POC. Booster would have to heavily modify DevHook so that you don't go through a menu to load 2.71 in order to accomplish that

If you Flash your PSP with the default options and now get a message when running the POC stating "file size of vshmain_real.prx does not match" then it's simply because the Flasher doesn't work once flashed. If you want to restore your original 1.50, fake the index.dat to 1.00, and run the 1.50 $ony EBOOT updater

- If you have DevHook installed and a USB Mod, then you can add this to the load module section and can take screenshots right on your 1.5: loadmodule0 = "ms0:/dh/kd/modfiles/screenshotbmp.prx"

If you want a Devhook v0.44 that starts in XMB 2.71 without loading a UMD or iSO, you can take out the UMD before 2.71 starts or simply use the fake.iso file (included). If u get in 2.71 and then an error appears, just press O, and it's will be fine then.
