AhMan has stopped by our forums to inform us of a new iR Shell release. iR Shell is, without a doubt, the most functional PSP shell out, and is also one of the most impressive homebrew applications I have ever laid eyes on. iR Shell comes complete with a sinkable interface, IR remote, file browser, music player, picture viewer, launching of 1.0 eboots on 1.50 PSP's, taking important screenshots and many, many more features!
iR Shell, like many other "shells" only work properly on 1.50 PSP's (and some on 1.0 as well). I feel in love with this application as a simple snapshot program for the PSP, but seeing it evolve over the year to what it is now is definitely no easy feat to accomplish! This new version of iR Shell includes the following additions -
Support 1.0 Eboot format. (Note: The APP view will not list Eboots for 2.x Homebrews that are designed to be launched from Devhook firmware emulation.)
Support for __SCE__ naming convension.
Both 1.0 Eboot & SCE naming can be enabled or disabled under iR Configurator. If you don't use these naming convensions, you can turn them off for a faster APP view list.
Allow removal of startup splash screen (configurable under iR Configurator).
nethostfs server v1.5 is enhanced to allow read only access. This means you can open your PC server to the public without worrying files being deleted. Refer to the user guide for details.
File Manager has been enhanced to support mulitple files/directories selections similar to MP3. You can use CIRCLE key to hightlight multiple files or directories and then perform file manipulation on them. You can highlight maximum of 10 files or directories. The mulitple selection will only work under DIR & RDF View. It won't work for APP & SAV views.
The location of each view (DIR, APP, RDF & SAV) will be remembered after toggle. Example, switching from DIR View to APP View and back to DIR View. The directory & cursor location will return to its original location before you left. Pls note MP3 Shortcut & DIR Shortcut are also classified as DIR View.

- 可以一边玩UMD游戏或者自制软件一边听MP3
- 内制红外线功能，支持超过2000以上的设备
- 有文件浏览器，用户可以浏览Memory stick，UMD, 或者通过usb, wifi浏览PC硬盘或者DVDRom上的文件。 你甚至通过单击能从这些设备上打开文件目录，例如PMP电影， Atrac3s, PMF电影，文本文件，PDF文件，BMP图片，jpg, png, PBP PSP apps, ZIP&rar等等。
- 用户能通过USB或者WIFI连接psp和电脑，可以把psp的程序储存在电脑上，通过psp运行，这样psp就有足够的空间了。
- 可以在PSP与PSP间通过WIFI文件传输
- 可以进行抓图，任何UMD游戏，MP4电影，UMD电影等等。对于MP4电影和UMD电影的截图，用户可以用 “Launch XMB” 功能实现。

基本操作说明：

摇杆→：执行已经运行的自制程序
摇杆←：运行UMD
摇杆↑：切换USB连接的有无（默认无）
摇杆↓：退出IR Shell
L＋R：重启IR Shell
L＋select：在自制程序或游戏与IR Shell之间切换（比如游戏中退出看下攻略然后再进入）
L＋START：改变CPU速度
L＋△：进入psp/photo目录
L＋×：传输文件
L＋↑：进入XMB系统
L＋↓：进入闹钟系统
start：帮助菜单
L＋摇杆↓：WIFI hosfs连接
SELECT：回到主菜单
安装方法：IRSHELL放在记忆棒根目录，再把PSP\GAME下的文件复制到记忆棒中的同名文件夹。
主菜单的图标功能描述:
ms0: 到ms0/目录浏览记忆棒上文件。按X是确定,三角是退出.也能通过在”ms0/”时按“三角”键，进入媒体文件.可以直接运行的有:
PMP,AT3,ZIP,TXT,PMF,RAR,PDF等,很方便。
MP3 view: 可以直接跳转到ms0:/PSP/MUSIC 目录。用户能听任何MP3通过按X键， 按 “O” 也能高亮选种多个Mp3文件. 之后，在按 X键后用户便可完成Mp3 list了。注意也能高亮选择包含mp3文件的目录。其实，所有在目录下的文件将被逐一运行。
iR view: iR View就是内制的红外线远程控制功能。可以通过红外控制以安装的电器.去www.remotecentral.com 下载Pronto codes 来支持你的设备，并且把RDF格式的文件保存在Irshell\ircodes目录里就可以了。
APP view: Application view将列出在ms0:/PSP/GAME下，你所安装的应用程序。不论是带有％的，还是隐藏的，都可以显示。
Dir: 简单的说就是快捷方式。 你自定义的目录快捷方式通过iR的 Configurator以便Dir快捷键可以直接进入提前定义的目录。
SAV View: Sav图标是用来看详细的游戏存档的，可以用wifi传给别人。
RUN Icons:
-UMD：这个是运行UMD游戏。 通过 快捷键“L+Select” 切换UMD游戏和iR shell 来切换。
-Eboot 1 to 5: 这5个图标是表示直接运行5个自己预定义的软件程序，而不需要进入App View（即进入psp\game目录）.
注意：不过必须安装预定义软件到下面的目录：

接下来是比较重要的用psp浏览电脑里的文件方法：
CONNECT Icons: 链接图标
- USB Mass Storage: Toggle USB Mass Storage On or Off. 转换 USB存储器开或者关。
- USBHost0: 转换Usbhost0 连接，能通过usb浏览pc硬盘或者dvdrom。需要安装usbhostfs 驱动在pc 上。
- USBHost0 Redirection: 转换usbhost0到ms0的一个映射。Usbhost0 到ms0映射为 on时， 所有的进入ms0: 的设备将被转到usbhost0. 就是现有的自制软件在没有修改的情况下进入电脑上的文件。
-NETHost0: 转换nethost0链接。这个功能就是拿来浏览电脑硬盘或者dvdrom 通过wifi连接。查看Host file system 获得具体的nethostfs access设置。
-NeHost0 Redirection: 转换nethost0 到ms0映象。在nethost0 到ms0映象为On时，所有的进入ms0:的设备将被转到nethost0. 这代表现有的自制软件在没有修改的情况下进入电脑。
比较复杂。。。
TOOL Icons:
- File Management: 文件管理系统，可以 复制，粘贴，删除，重命名和创建目录，超方便。
-Devhook Allow launching of devhook directly within iR Shell. Devhook将可以在iR Shell中直接运行。 用户将不得不安装devhook 0.4x到psp上。用户能设置devhook 固件版本在iR Shell Configurator 下。 默认的设置是运行fw 2.71。
-Launch XMB: 在iR shell下，运行fw 1.5 XMB。当运行xmb后，可以能转换XMB和iR Shell通过快捷键” L+Select”. 在nethost0或者usbhost0 redirection一起使用下，用户能用XMB video player运行 电脑上的mp4电影，这个功能不错，节省空间啊。
还有的就是闹钟功能，锁机功能，就不多说了
