Four legendary monsters: Gorz the Emissary of Darkness, Herald of Perfection, Naturia Barkion, and the mighty Blue-Eyes White Dragon are receiving the Ghost Rare treatment. But these aren’t just any old Ghost Rares like you might find in a booster pack, they’re special Ghost/Gold Rare hybrid cards that you’ll only find in Gold Series! Ghost/Gold Rare hybrid cards combine the 3D holographic art technology of Ghost Rares with the sweet gold borders, names, and Level/Rank stars of Gold Rares. There’s nothing else like them!
And, for the first time ever, Spell and Trap Cards are being rendered with holographic Ghost Rare technology. Two of the most iconic cards in all of Dueling, Mystical Space Typhoon and Solemn Judgment, are available as Ghost/Gold Hybrid Rares only in Gold Series: Haunted Mine. Even after 10 years, these are two of the most popular and most played Spell and Trap Cards around.

The Dark Scorpions, premier purveyors of pilfering, have infiltrated Dueling once again to bring you the finest in five-finger discounts. Their leader, the ever-popular Don Zaloog steals away cards from your opponent’s hand or Deck. Cliff the Trap Remover dispels Spells and disarms Traps, sometimes before they can even be drawn! Gorg the Strong sends enemies flying back to the Deck, Chick the Yellow is an escape artist, and Meanae the Thorn is there to whip them all into shape when they start slacking off!
Opposing their thieving ways is an army of Zombies, Traps, and Traps that become Zombies (or Machines, or Reptiles, or Rocks) ready to fight them off and keep them away from the Haunted Mine’s treasures. In fact, there are just so many of them that this Gold Series is the biggest one yet, clocking in at 55 cards total!
