剧情简介：
传说在地球被一颗陨石撞击之后，另一半的星球上的生灵在日益毁坏的生态环境下，面临越来越痛苦的境遇。斯凯普林管道公司在挖掘地下时，将两个世界打通。马里奥和鲁基兄弟本来是管道工，因为戴西被抓，他们一同进入岩层，来到由库帕控制的另一个世界。库帕运用他的机器，可以将生物随意进化或退化，而可以统一两个世界的正是戴西，她手中的陨石碎片成了大家争抢的目标。兄弟二人发挥了他们的所长，帮助戴西使父亲复原，并稳定了混乱的局势。
